ORLANDO, FL — No Cuffs No Chains has announced a transformative workforce development initiative in partnership with Google’s Grow with Google program, providing 1,000 scholarships for Google Career Certificates to individuals seeking new career opportunities and economic stability. The initiative will also include career coaching, workforce readiness support, and assistance with job placement for participants.
The scholarship program aligns with No Cuffs No Chains’ mission of breaking cycles of incarceration, unemployment, and poverty through education, rehabilitation, and economic empowerment. The organization’s Break The Chains Diversion Program already focuses on workforce certification, life-skills development, mentorship, and employment support as alternatives to traditional justice system outcomes.
Through the partnership, scholarship recipients will gain access to Google’s industry-recognized professional certificates in high-demand fields including Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Project Management, IT Support, Digital Marketing & E-commerce, UX Design, Business Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence. The programs are designed for beginners, require no prior experience, and can typically be completed online within three to six months.
Google Career Certificates have become one of the nation’s largest workforce training initiatives, with more than one million graduates worldwide and a network of over 150 employer partners that actively recruit certificate holders. Google reports that a majority of graduates experience positive career outcomes such as new employment, promotions, or wage increases within six months of completing their programs.
